Khorasan Electric Industrial Co. was established in 1966, in an area of 40,000 sqaure meters and operation started in 1967.

At present the company is running with over 400 work forces and annual capacity of 20,000 tons.

Production covers a wide range of low voltage wire and cables, including power cables (with PVC and XLPE insulation), control cables,

armoured cables, concentric cables, vahicle wires, building wires, coaxial cables, fire resisting cables, low smoke halogen free cables and overhead hard drawn bare copper wires.

The company is authorized to use logo of Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI), which is simillar to IEC 227 standards.

Khorasan Electric Industrial Co. was awarded te title of the best producer of wire and cable in Khorasan, due to the utilization of up-to-date technology and machinery, which upgrade the quality of products.

The company has also received the licence for research and developmeny from the ministry of industry in 1992. This company was received ISO9002 certificate in 2000 from SGS Co.
